This is me.

I’m from Baltimore.

My grandmother taught me to paint when I was 6 years old and I’ve been painting ever since.

I like working with middle and high school students because they are ok with my random-ness and crazy ideas. I miss being a church youth group leader, but have since been drafted to be an American Red Cross Volunteer youth leader.

I am very close to my family and miss them and my good friends in Maryland a lot.

I like sweet tea and Sonic Drive-ins.

(and unless otherwise noted, it will probably be me blogging)

This is my husband, Andy.

He is from North Carolina and Atlanta, GA.

He likes watching planes.

He was studying to be in the ministry, but has decided God is calling him in a different direction.

He is using his nonprofit management degree by working with the American Red Cross on military bases to help soldiers and their families.

He will probably be deployed sometime in the next year or so and then we may be sent to other bases all over the world.

He likes cheese grits – a lot.

(but he has been unsuccessful in his attempts to get me to eat them)

We got married on September 1, 2008.

It was a perfect day.

We were so blessed to have all of our family

and friends celebrate with us.

We moved to a small town in North Carolina.

We are loving married life.

(but we don’t have a motorcycle, nor do we really want one.
